No one is safe when it comes to Stranger Things, that’s been made very, very clear.
Indeed, we’ve had plenty of surprising deaths over the past 4 seasons and that doesn’t look to be changing anytime soon. In fact, when asked about the fate of Steve Harrington, in particular, creators Matt and Ross Duffer wouldn’t confirm anything, but did tease that fans should be concerned.
Matt: Everybody’s always worried about Steve. I love it. We always have to beat Steve up somehow, so certainly the Demobats have done that job pretty well already this season.
Ross: “It feels wrong to say ‘excited,’ but I’m excited that people are concerned. And they should be concerned going into the final two episodes [of Season 4] — for everybody.
So, will Steve meet his maker when Stranger Things returns? Perhaps, and we’ll find out for sure on July 1st.
