We’re not sure why, but a children’s film starring a bunch of rabbits is currently the #1 movie on Netflix. Yes, really.
The pic in question is Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, a fairly recent 3D live-action/computer-animated adventure comedy effort that’s fun for the whole family. The sequel features James Corden, Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson and David Oyelowo and scored pretty decent reviews.
But more impressive is that in the US at least, it’s the most-watched film on Netflix, beating out heavy hitters like Red Notice and The Power of the Dog. How long its reign will last remains to be seen, but for now, Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway is the movie to beat on the streamer.
