The Dwayne Johnson Movie You Forgot Existed Is Charging Up The Netflix Charts

A Dwayne Johnson movie that most people forgot even existed is now charging up the most-watched charts on Netflix.

Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Johnson wasn’t always the Hollywood megastar he is today, and one of his earlier efforts is one that people often forget even exists.

We’re talking about The Rundown, a 2003 action film that sees The Rock play a “bounty hunter who travels to Brazil to retrieve his employer’s son.” With a 69% on Rotten Tomatoes, it was a modest hit at the time but quickly faded from the public consciousness and is almost never spoken about now.

But somehow, it’s finding new life on Netflix this week. According to the latest stats, it’s the 56th most-watched movie on the platform worldwide, and was hovering around the Top 50 just a few days ago, proving once more that Dwayne Johnson always draws a big crowd.
