It’s easy to forget, but Scarlett Johansson was already a pretty big star before she joined the MCU, and one of her more forgotten about movies is now streaming on Netflix, where it may just find a whole new audience.
The Other Boleyn Girl is a 2008 history drama starring Johansson alongside Natalie Portman and Eric Bana. Admittedly, it didn’t receive the greatest reviews upon its release, but it’s a perfectly harmless effort centering around “two sisters contending for the affection of King Henry VIII.”
Given how big of a star Scarlett Johansson has become since she made it, it’s often forgotten about when people speak of her work. But now that it’s on Netflix, we’d certainly recommend giving it a watch if it passed you by all those years ago.
