More Details On A Star Wars Movie Has Been Revealed

Shawn Levy’s Star Wars movie is being developed, but it might not follow the original ideas that were planned. Levy, who has directed movies like Deadpool and Wolverine, and Free Guy, is working with screenwriter Jonathan Tropper. His choice as director has received mixed feelings from fans, as reactions to his earlier films have varied.

Early reports suggested that the story could involve an older version of Rey, played by Daisy Ridley. However, since Ridley is set to star in her own Star Wars film, it’s unclear if that storyline will happen. Apparently, this plot but didn’t confirm it was canceled, leaving the door open for the storyline to still be considered or changed.

Levy explained, “because Deadpool & Wolverine was so fulfilling, I’m quite happily open to whatever’s next, and yes, there’s a Star Wars movie that I’m developing, actually with our Adam Project screenwriter Jonathan Tropper. You never know what’s going to become undeniable and get made next.”

Filming for Levy’s Star Wars film is expected to start later this year, possibly in the UK during the fall. So far, no casting announcements have been made, and there’s no news about the studio looking for specific actors, which adds to the uncertainty about the film’s storyline and direction.

Overall, the project seems to be still developing and likely going through changes. The shift in plans and the absence of casting news and a finalized plot indicate that the movie is in its early stages. We can expect more updates from Lucasfilm or Levy himself soon, which should clarify the direction and story of the film.

The production schedule suggests that important decisions about the film will be made in the coming months. It’s common for large projects in the early stages to lack clear details, but this contributes to ongoing speculation about what the final film will look like.
