Paramount+ users seemingly love Mark Wahlberg, with 3 of the actor’s movies dominating the platform this week.
In fifth is Daddy’s Home with its sequel, Daddy’s Home 2, occupying sixth on the Top 10 most-watched films list. The series was a modest hit in theaters and follows a “mild-mannered stepfather (Will Ferrell) who vies for the attention of his wife’s (Linda Cardellini) children when their biological father (Wahlberg) returns.”
Neither is what you’d call a comedy classic, but watching Ferrell and Wahlberg on screen is always enjoyable and it seems that subscribers agree.
As for the third pic, that’s Infinite, a recent sci-fi actioner that drew negative reviews from critics but has played well on Paramount+ since its release in June. Following a “man who discovers that his hallucinations are actually visions from past lives,” it’s the seventh most-watched movie on the service today, proving that users are really digging Mark Wahlberg at the moment.
