Benedict Cumberbatch has a new movie out and unsurprisingly, it’s blowing up on Prime Video.
Distributed by Amazon Studios – in the US, at least – The Electrical Life of Louis Wain is a whimsical look at the life of its titular character, that being English artist Louis Wain. For those unfamiliar, he “rose to prominence at the end of the 19th century for his surreal cat paintings that seemed to reflect his declining sanity.”
It’s a wonderful film with excellent performances from Benedict Cumberbatch and the entire cast, and currently, it sits in second place on the chart for most-watched movies on Prime Video, with only The Tomorrow War ahead of it.
