A forgotten Gina Carano movies is now streaming on Prime Video and it’s pulling in a lot of viewers.
The film in question is Daughter of the Wolf, which follows “ex-military specialist Clair Hamilton, who returns home from her tour in the Middle East due to her father’s passing and to claim her inheritance. Her son is then kidnapped and held for ransom by a gang led by a mysterious figure known only as “Father.”
It didn’t make much of an impact when it landed in 2019, earning mediocre reviews from critics and being quickly forgotten about, but it’s now staging a comeback on streaming. Currently, it’s the 7th most-watched movie on Prime Video, and having moved up from 8th since yesterday, it’s looking like this Gina Carano effort is finally finding redemption.
