Multiple outlets are reporting tonight that Amazon is putting together a new TV show based on the video game franchise Mass Effect, a popular sci-fi series that’d lend itself well to an adaptation.
It’s still early days, but let’s not forget that Henry Cavill has already put himself forth for the project and the studio would be foolish to not at least chat with him about the job.

For now, though, there’s not much else to report on, but it seems Amazon is buoyed by the recent success of The Wheel of Time and is now intent on getting more into the sci-fi/fantasy genre. And Mass Effect is certainly a great property for them to expand their roster with.
