Though there was initially some hesitation about whether or not they would pull it off, it’s safe to say that Prime Video’s The Wheel of Time has been a huge success. And thankfully, it’s coming back for more!
Yes, the streamer renewed it for a second season before it even premiered and production kicked off back in July. Not only that, but the team behind the fantasy series has revealed that they hope to keep going for 8 seasons before calling it quits.
Whether they’ll get their wish or not remains to be seen, but as for when you can expect The Wheel of Time to return, showrunner Rafe Judkins recently said:
“I don’t think I’m allowed to say how long you’ll have to wait for season 2, but it’s a big show it takes a long time to put together. Don’t expect it too soon.”
With that in mind, it sounds like fans may have to wait until late 2022 or early 2023 for the show to drop new episodes on Prime Video.
