Squid Game Season 2 is happening. That much we know.
What we don’t know, however, is what it’ll be about plot-wise. Of course, we have some ideas given how Season 1 left off and there were certainly a few threads that remained open for the new run to pick up on. But any concrete details on the story have been hard to come by.
The stars themselves certainly have some ideas for where to go next, though, including Lee Jung-jae, who shared the following:
“After we filmed Squid Game Season 1, we all got together brainstorming ideas for how to bring everybody back alive. My idea is the masked men carry all of them out as quickly as possible and do a surgery on them to keep them alive.”
Obviously, that’s not going to happen in Season 2 and would be a bit silly if it did. But hopefully as we head further into 2022, we’ll begin to get more details on what to expect when Squid Game returns.
