Netflix has a new horror show that’s absolutely killing it on the platform, racking up insane viewing hours.
The series in question is Archive 81, which tripled its viewership in its second week on the streaming site to hit #2 on the most-watched TV shows list, earning 70.98M streaming hours. Clearly, this is indicative of very strong word of mouth and more and more people discovering this not so hidden gem.
Indeed, it even came close to toppling Ozark Season 4, which earned 77M hours streamed, and that’s one of Netflix‘s marquee shows at the moment. Of course, it may see a bit of a drop off in week 3, but even if it does, Archive 81 has been an incredible success and we imagine a Season 2 announcement is coming soon.
